Not only does coconut oil make the perfect addition to your popcorn, it is ridiculously good for your health, hair and skin!

Just ask any health guru, blogger, socialite, vego, vegan, and your mum’s dog. EVERYONE is loving coconut oil! Let’s take a look at some top reasons why.

Great for Cooking

Coconut oil is very different from most other cooking oils and contains a unique composition of fatty acids, primarily made up of saturated fats. Now in the past we have been told to avoid saturated fats as much as possible. However, as nutrition information and science has developed, its been found saturated fats are not so bad and what we’re left with is a perfectly healthy cooking oil (As 'Authority Nutirition' explained in depth). As an alternative to vegetable oils and shortening, coconut oil is a kitchen winner.
